An dieser Stelle möchte ich mal einen Sender von dieser Stelle aus ein dickes Lob aussprechen : Heute war ein ganzer Schwung von QSL-Karten und Briefen in der Post. Eigentlich nichts besonderes. Aber beeindruckt war ich von der schnellen Antwort von Radio Tashkent. Ich hatte mich schon auf eine längere Wartezeit wie bei anderen Stationen eingestellt, da der Sender ja nicht zu den Großen mit gut gefüllter Brieftasche gehört. Die QSL kam nach 3 Wochen Gesamtlaufzeit. Abgeschickt hatte ich den Brief am 5.8., er dürfte also ca 3-4 Tage später beim Sender gewesen sein. Dabei hatte ich neben dem " obligatorischen " Empfangsbericht nur noch einen persönlichen Brief mit einigen Vorschlägen beigefügt. Keine Ansichtskarten oder sonstige " Dreingaben ". Beantwortet wurden mein Empfangsbericht und der persönliche Brief am 18. bzw. 21.7. Nehme ich die Laufzeit deren Antwort zum Maßstab (Laufzeit : 10 Tage), wurde mein Brief wohl sofort nach Eingang beantwortet. Eine tolle Leistung ! So macht's richtig Spaß ! QTH : 49 Khorezm Street, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. *** *** - O que me chamou a atenção nesta correpondência além do cartão QSL, foi a carta pessoal, amabilíssima, nunca tinha recebido uma carta pessoal que demonstrasse uma amizade tão grande por parte da emissora até hoje. Outra coisa curiosa é que, no papel timbrado da carta pessoal, em seu cabeçalho, colaram uma tira de papel e datilografaram "Uzbekistan", achei aquilo estranho, e, olhando contra a luz, vi que no papel timbrado estava a sigla "USSR". A carta ainda é datilografada sim.. pra falar a verdade achei até meio estranho receber uma carta assim nos dias de hoje. Gostei tanto da carta que com toda certeza vou escrever mais vezes para eles. Recieved reply from R. Tashkent in 12 weeks for report of reception (with ATS.803.A and 9' helical "tomato stake" antenna) while camping near Benson,Ariz., photo of the monitoring site, 2 Arizona postcards, and 2 IRCs. I wonder what some of you have to say on this. The envelope contained an Uzbek postcard (not a QSL card), and a letter. The letter did NOT say the magic words (we checked your report against our log...we VERIFY....etc.) It was merely the TONE of the letter that suggested that they believed I did hear them. (And, I might add, they did not say "we regret...we can not verify...." or etc). They were very interested in a continued correspondence and in having me continue to listen to R. Tashkent Intl. Since this was my first reply from them (after a number of tries over the years), I was interested in knowing form other DXers if this is the usual type of reply from this station. This was in response from Richard Daniel, who took the time to response to my QSL attempts to get 6260 Broadcast verified. All my attempts to CVC VoiceAsia went unanswered for their 1400 broadcast in Hindi.
