| RFO-Noumea, 7170. Finally got this one verified on a 1982 reception report ! Had an acquaintance of mine in Noumea check into this, he tells me RFO no longer QSL's. But TDF, which runs RFO's transmitters does ! What I got in return was a very nice local post card depicting fishing hut in a tropical setting, with the following statement on the back, accompanied by an official Telediffusion de France stamp : -We are glad to confirm your reception of RFO-Noumea, on 7170 kHz shortwave, on September 7, 1982.- Obviously right up near the top (with recently-verified SODRE) of my most-wanted list ! | D.Sharp-FL-USA | Cumbre DX 093 | Jul 96 |
