Hallo, Amanecer scheint mir nicht der hartnäckigste QSLer zu sein. Im Vergleich zu anderen Stationen habe ich da nicht so oft hingeschrieben. Meine QSL war von 9/2001. Auch bei Dario Monferinis QSL-Meldungen tauchte der öfter mal auf. Wenn ich dagegen an solche Stationen wie Bata Äquatorial-Guinea denke (nur eine von vielen), da würde ich schon eher eine Kerze anzünden. Es kommt warscheinlich auf viele Aspekte an: Geldmangel, keine Zeit,aber manchmal findet sich eben ein Mitarbeiter, der ein Herz für die Dxer hat. Oder ein Briefmarkensammler, wie bei Radio Difusora do Amazonas 4805 kHz. Ich habe da übrigens schon einige Sätze geopfert, die muss der aber schon gehabt haben. F.Hunger-D A-DX-ML Aug 02
QSL Radio Amanecer [] der Brief von Adrian kam hier auch heute an. Gehört hatte ich die im Januar '98 auf 1570 kHz, ich hatte schon alle Hoffnung auf eine Amanecer-QSL aufgegeben. Zwei Berichte über 6025 vergeblich, zwei Versuche mit 1570 ebenso. Insgesamt kamen hier zwei QSLs, Brief, Infomaterial, Lineal, Taschenkalender, der Brief mit Sondermarken vollgepflastert. Heute lag ein Brief von Adrian Peterson (AWR Wavescan) im Briefkasten. Inhalt: Eine QSL Karte von Radio Amanecer International fuer einen Bericht vom 8. April 2001 und reichlich Informationsmaterial ueber AWR und den AWR DX Contest 2002. Die QSLs sind offensichtlich in Santo Domingo ausgestellt und dann als Sammelsendung nach Indianapolis gegangen. Von dort wurden sie von Adrian einzeln verschickt. Auf der QSL ist als Anschrift "Apartado 1,500" angegeben, waehrend die Station bisher immer "Apartado 4680" angab. U.Volk-D A-DX-ML Aug 02

Wie gesagt, direkt aus DomRep, nicht via AWR USA. Die Laufzeit betrug zwar stolze 1341 Tage, aber immerhin nach langer Zeit endlich mal wieder ein direkt bestätigter Bericht. 5012 Very nice full data QSL letter from HIMI Radio Cristal Internacional. By separate post the same day I also received a full data QSL card. v/s Dario Badia, director general. Frequency verified 5012, 1 kHz; announced frequency is 5010kHz Power : 1 kW. Antenna : 30 meter horizontal dipole on a height of 5 meters. They started broadcasting on 5010 kHz on the 5th of April 1967 but have been off the air for a long period and now came back on the air to inform listeners about touristic areas and the culture. Radio Juventus Don Bosco, 1640 kHz. E-QSL in 4 days for e-mail report. Only date in body of text, but full-data in subject line since I send them that way. That way the Radio Peace type QSL with a one word reply of "Verified" gives me more detail should I refer to it in the future. I guess it's like a ppc via e-mail. V/S was Fr. Luis Rosario Pena, Station Director. First part of reply below (the balance of the answer was the station history): "I was glad to receive your reception report of Radio Juventus Don Bosco. So nice to know that our signal has been captured in Mahopac, NY. We appreciate the kindness of your report from the United States of America." I guess a step up from a thank you verification. I had included 2 audio files as well. We exchanged thank you and you're welcome e-mails in the last hour or two. 36th x-band QSL and second outside the US, the other being WDHP-USVI. Heute gab es einen Bestätigungsbrief der Salesianer-Station Radio Juventus Don Bosco, 1640 kHz, aus Santo Domingo. Laufzeit 67 Tage. Ich hatte sowohl einen Bericht per snail-mail wie auch schrotschußmäßig an drei verschiedene Mailadressen geschickt. Da der Adressaufkleber des Snailmail-Berichtes nicht benutzt wurde, vermute ich, daß die QSL auf einen der E-Mail-Berichte kam. Im Urlaub hörte ich am 5.October 2001 in Puerto Plata in der Dominikanischen Republik Radio Santa María aus La Vega, Dom.Rep. auf 590 kHz. Abgeschickt habe ich meinen Bericht so um den 22.Oktober in Spanisch mit einer dominikanischen Briefmarke als Rückporto, einem Aufkleber, einer Ansichtskarte und einem PPC in Spanisch vom EAWRC. Heute kam der PPC gestempelt und unterschrieben mit einem Aufkleber zurück. V/s war Juan Gonzalo und dann kommt noch ein Buchstabe oder ähnliches, das ich nicht entziffern kann. Eingetragen auf dem PPC sind auch noch der Sendertyp (A3-10kW) und die Antenne (Grund Plane 1/4). Als Adresse steht auf dem Umschlag die gleiche wie im WRTH: P.O.Box 55, La Vega, Dom.Rep.
