Letter was prepared on the official form "Azerbaijan Republic - National Television and Radio Broadcasting Company", with company logo, outgoing number 011/1-10 of 16.02.05. R Dada Gorgud : kurz nach dem Auftauchen dieser Station in 1993 erhielt ich einen QSL Brief unterzeichnet von Tamam Bayatli-Öner. Ob dieser v/s noch in Amt und Würden ist, kann ich nicht sagen, sorry.

Yesterday the postman delivered a surprise to me : A QSL (with registered mail) from Azerbaijan Broadcasting (what we know as Radio Dada Gorgud). Verisigner was Kamil Mamedov, Director of the Division of International Relations, Azerbaijan Broadcasting. No data on date of listening or frequency (9165 and 1296 kHz), but also telling about a competition held : " What do you know about Azerbaijan ?". Those who want to participate should give detailed information about yourself, your fax- and telephonenumbers and address to the station. Fax / phone to the station is 99412 398505.

9165, R. Dada Gorgud, A n/d e-mail from Arzu Abdullayev, confirmed that the audio clip I e-mailed him from a 1998 transmission on 9165 kHz was, "indeed a broadcast of the radioproqram of Azerbaijan State TV & Radio Broadcasting Company." A previous e-mail report to him resulted in a negative response, as they no longer transmit on 9165 kHz.
