Heute ist nach 275 Tagen und jeweils zwei Fax- und Emailerinnerungen eine Bestätigung in Form einer QSL- Karte von Radio Bahrain aus Manama eingetroffen. Bestätigt wurde der Empfang der wiederauferstandenen Kurzwelle 9.745 kHz. Damit habe ich nun wirklich nicht mehr gerechnet, zumal auch bei Martin Schoech in den letzten Jahren keine Erfolgsmeldungen zu dieser Station eingetragen sind. R.Bessler-D A-DX-ML Jan 04

Danach arbeiter der Rundfunk aus Bahrain auf diesen Frequenzen: ARABISCH auf 612, 801, 9745 kHz + FM, ENGLISCH auf 1584 kHz + FM und HINDI nur auf FM. Coalition Maritime Forces QSL: Today (Nov 30) I received an appreciated, personal QSL-letter (attached) from the U. S. Department of the Navy, Commander of the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command (I.e. Middle East), FPO AE 09501-6008, on my report sent 72 days ago on their broadcast on 6125 as heard here in Denmark at 0100-0159 UTC. As you probably can read, the QSL is non/data, but confirms and appreciates my report on their broadcasts in six Middle East languages languages to "fellow mariners who otherwise may not hear this type of programming.". V/S is K. W. Auten, Captain, U.S. Navy, ACOS Ops, U.S. Fifth Fleet. (A Navy Captain equals to an Army Colonel!) The envelope was stamped 80 cent and mailed on Nov 22 from ZIP Code 09834 whereever that may be ?
